HAMILTON 100.   The Circuit.

Report's from the day state that this annual event on the streets of Hamilton was a complete success, that was acording to the Hamilton Motorcycle Club, the visiting riders and the public. However when the club applied to the council to hold the race the following year, the application was met with resistance, The council was made up of six voting councilers and the chairman, after the votes were counted, it was three for and three against, this left the casting vote to the chair, who for whatever reason voted against the application, so that ended street motorcycle racing in Hamilton.
