Australian Saloon Car Grand Prix. 9th November 1974.ALAN BUTCHER Wins the QLD GRAND PRIXQueenland based and could be Australia's most traveled speedway driver Alan Butcher has taken out tonight the Final of the Australian Saloon Car Grand Prix here at the Exhibition Ground, Butcher led home Kev Drew while in third place was Rod Wilkinson.

1974 - BRISBANE EXHIBITION SPEEDWAY. Supermodified feature plus Speedcar's and Saloon Car's. 16th November 1974.Wanless spoils Hopping Domination.Sid Hopping has ventured to the Exhibition Speedway tonight with his Supermodified earning some success.
Winning a heat and Final of the handicap races and defeating Ron Wanless in a best of three match race series, but it would be Wanless who wins the nights feature race, from Hopping in second and John Bell in third.
Other feature winner's on the night, Brian Dillon Speedcar's and Ian Marshall, Saloon Car's.
