1973 - BRISBANE EXHIBITION SPEEDWAY. 13th October 1973.Blair Shepherd: wins Supermodified featureTonight here at the Exhibition International Speedway and having made a comeback to speedway racing, Blair Shepherd driving a Ron Wanless owned car has taken out the 15 lap feature event leading home Bob Kelly and Eric Davidson.
In the other features the Litre Speedcar event was won by John McFarlane. Gus McClure took out the Speedcar event, Joe Hobson the Saloon Car's, Ron Johnson and David Rose took the win in the Open Sidecar Handicap Final, while Neil Coddington won the Solo Scratch Race Final.

BRISBANE EXHIBITION SPEEDWAY. 10th November 1973.International Best Pairs to Reinke & White.The Solo boys sure have turned it on tonight with the running of there International Solo Pairs Competition, It was a class field entered including the two boys from the USA, Mike and Steve Bast but by racing's end it would be Steve Reinke and Jack White with the win.
The support program was well represented with feature win's going to Bob George in the Litre Speedcar's. Barrie Watt in the Speedcar's. Blair Shepherd took out the Supermodified's. Frank Bennett then won

the Solo Handicap Final. In the Sidecars it was Peter Toesi who was paired with Gabor Berka who claimed the win in the Sidecar Handicap Final and last but not least was Len Hennessy who took out the Saloon Car's.
