Tonight's meeting here at the Ekka has been abandoned due to rain after just eleven event, some of the winners in leading up to that point have been. Ron Wanless (Supermodified feature) Basil Parasyn (Saloon Car Handicap) John Smith (Litre Speedcar race) Gus McClure was the stand out in the Speedcars driving his new Offy having a win and a second place in the two legs of the Craven Filter Speedcar feature event.
