The Bridgehampton Road Race Corperation was formed in 1953, by a group of local Road Racing enthusiasts, these mission was to raise the money to build Brigehampton's first permanent racing circuit.

1957 - BRIDGEHAMPTON RACE CIRCUIT.
Although the venue was not entirly finished the first race meeting was held in 1957. Several succesful years of racing events and national Series were held at Bridgehampton over this period, meanwhile construction continued on finishing the circuit to its four mile length, but also many more tracks were popping up, all newer, more modern and more appealing to the drivers and fan's.
Sadly Bridgehampton had lost it gloss, The venue needed some major upgrade to bring it up to world standard's, but the Corperation had very little money, add to this, the noise complaint's and the land valves had gone through the roof, i think you can see where this is going, It is reported that the Bridgehampton circuit closed in 1999.
