2003 - BARBER MOTORSPORTS PARK. Inaugural Race Meeting. 18th May 2003.Barber Motorsports park is a 880 acre Motorsport Facility in Birmingham Alabama. It was built by George W Barber, the build started in 2002 and opened on the 18th of May 2003.
This world class venue is used and has been used for many forms of motoring and motorsport events since its opening.
On site is a Vintage Motorsport Museum which has hosted the Annual Barber Vintage Festival since 2005.
Track experience teams operate from the venue for Bikes and Cars.
The Indy Car Series "Grand Prix of Alabama" has been held at the venue since 2010. The 2.38 mile circuit has also hosted many other classes and catagories of racing including two, three and four wheels.

The off roader's get to have there fun on a 1.1 km Vintage Motorcycle Scramble Track or a 7 mile, 4 wheel off road complex that can be configured into many variations that wind's its way through the natural bush and river crossing's. Add to that an man made Obstacle course.
