1973 - ROWLEY PARK SPEEDWAY. South Australia v West Australia Solo Match Race Series. 12th October 1973.SA Solo boys defeat WATonight was South Australia's night as far as winning the Interstate Solo Match Race Series here at Rowley Park Speedway.
The South Australian team led by there Captain Robin Amundson who finished on a total of 11 point's, top scored, with fellow team riders, Brenton Kluske 10 points also Paul Scanlon and Tony McGuinness both on 3 points each. This earnt the team 27 points.
The West Australian team finished on 21 point's all up with the breakdown being, Bob O'Leary 8 points, Les Leisk 5 points. Colin Thompson and Glynn Taylor both on 4 point's each.
