ABILENE DRAGSTRIP [2003]
Abilene Dragstrip opened in 2003 as a 1/8 mile paved Dragstrip. During its life the venue went through a name change to Big Country Raceway. In 2004 the owners put the entire 54 acres of land and the facilities up for sale. The hope is that a new owner can be found with an interest in drag racing rather than one who wants to built another Industrial Estate.
